The scent was launched in 1853. Fragrance Notes: Bergamot, Neroli, Orange, Verbena, Lavender. On its label, it bears the symbol of the Empire with the coat of arms chosen by Napoleon: the eagle, the imperial crown and the scepter. Its bottle bears a constellation of 69 bees, the symbol of the Empire and the emblem of the Guerlain family of "Eaux." The famous Eau de Cologne Imperiale strikes a harmony around refined floral accords.
